Our food manufacturing department, located in Rochester, NY, is a key part of our mission to help people live healthier, better lives through exceptional food. Within our manufacturing facility, several dynamic teams work together to produce the high-quality products that fill our stores.

Wegmans Culinary Innovation Center (CIC) provides a place to research, develop and produce new prepared food and ready-to-eat items for our stores. When you join the CIC team, you’ll create delicious new recipes for meals that delight our customers and meet their needs.

our cheese caves

We’re proud to be one of the only grocery stores in the nation with our own cheese ripening facility! Modeled after European cheese caves, this one-of-a-kind building has seven caves that ripen eight different cheeses simultaneously.
