management intern programs

For college students looking to jump start their careers before graduation, we offer paid summer internships with benefits. As a summer intern, you’ll get structured training and development with an experienced mentor, plus opportunities to network with our business partners and company leaders. We offer internships in Store Operations Management, Culinary, Supply Chain, Asset Protection, IT and more, lasting anywhere from one to three summers.

Our 10-18 week paid externships for college students occur over the summer or school year (with potential for school credit!). In an externship, you'll work closely with seasoned employees on developing your skills and get hands-on experience working in our stores. Many of our externs go on to work in permanent positions with us! We offer externship opportunities in select areas for students studying the Store Operations and Culinary fields.

team leader trainee

Our Team Leader Trainee Program is a paid training opportunity that prepares you for a full-time leadership role in our stores. As a Team Leader Trainee, you’ll spend up to six months learning the ins and outs of our business and products while getting hands-on experience developing others. An experienced mentor will be with you every step of the way. We offer Team Leader Trainee opportunities across all areas of our stores.

management trainee + culinary management trainee

The Management Trainee program is a 1-2 year paid development program that sets you up for success as a Department Manager or Sous Chef. As a Management Trainee, you’ll get hands-on leadership training and exposure to our products and business operations. We also offer opportunities to share your learnings and work with other leadership teams and participate in leadership and development events. Through it all, you’ll have the direct support and mentorship of an experienced Wegmans Leader.
