How do we help our employees grow? Wegmans is known for promoting from within - you'll find out about new opportunities through internal job postings. Training courses and development resources are in place to help you along the path to reaching your goals. Dedicated mentoring programs give our leaders the chance to develop others by sharing their knowledge and experiences. We believe in education and assisting our employees through our scholarship program. We have awarded over $100 million to more than 32,000 employees since the program began in 1984.

More than half of our store managers have worked with Wegmans since high school or college, starting as part-time cashiers, and many completed their education with help from our Scholarship Program.
