This VDC/BIM Coordinator role manages the development, oversight, and quality control of store and facility models used throughout the organization. This position provides guidance and support to teams on the implementation and governance of BIM standards throughout all areas of the Development Team including Real Estate, Store Planning, Architecture, Engineering, Remodels, Facilities, Construction, and Maintenance.

What will I do?

  • Be a subject matter expert for Revit, BIM, and model development; educate and advise others on standards and requirements
  • Coordinate project teams through all phases (pre-design, design development, construction, and project closeout); gather information to maintain updated models and related data; collaborate with the BIM team on policies, processes, and standards
  • Assist with development, management, and maintenance of store and facility models; maintain, update, create, and control quality of model content; monitor and manage content created by internal and external modelers
  • Collaborate with project teams and business partners; provide guidance and support to troubleshoot and resolve challenges; ensure seamless transition of documentation from new stores to future maintenance and remodel projects
  • Assist with implementing, maintaining, and documenting BIM related standards and content to support store and facility projects
  • Maintain high competency of software through use and training; participate on teams to maintain industry knowledge and skills
  • Stay on top of industry trends; automate routines in BIM to improve efficiency; identify and initiate continuous improvements

Required Qualifications

  • 3 or more years’ professional experience in Construction, Architecture, or in the Engineering field
  • Experience using Revit and Navisworks software
  • Project coordination experience; ability to communicate and conduct business at all levels of the organization, internal and external
  • Verbal and written communication skills               

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field
  • Experience managing and developing a team
  • Experience with software including Bluebeam Revu, Autodesk ReCap, AutoCAD, BIM 360, Enscape, Unifi, Dynamo, CTC tools; EAM, PM Web, SharePoint, Cost-X, IRIS VR, Infraworks
  • Licensed Architect
